Plan your flights to arrive at Kansas City International Airport (MCI). Car rental, taxi, and airport shuttle services are available to get you from the airport to the hotel and back. The shuttle leaves the airport about every 30 minutes with a stop at the Marriott Downtown hotel. The approximate cost for the shuttle service is $17 each way. For your return trip, we suggest that you book your return flight no earlier than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday to allow enough time to get to the airport and check in.
Weather and Dress
Business casual dress is appropriate for all conference events. Most activities from Monday to Thursday will be within the hotel. TouchNet will provide transportation to Wednesday evening's event. A coat or other wrap is recommended as Kansas City experiences Fall-like weather in mid-October with average highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.
