Payment Processing enables you to accept and manage all of your transactions—whether online, mobile, or POS—in one comprehensive commerce system from one vendor. Payments are processed in real-time and updates to the student account are automated, giving staff more time to support student needs. A range of payment methods are accepted, including:
- Credit and debit card acceptance
- Automated ClearingHouse (ACH)
- Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO)
Secure International Payments
Merchant Services enables acceptance of all major card brands, regardless of the country of issuance. Any branded international cards included in the major card brand BIN range are also accepted (e.g. China Union Pay, JCB, Diners, RuPay).
ACH Automation
TouchNet offers Automated Clearing House (ACH) Automation to manage your ACH processing. We generate and transmit your daily ACH transactions, notify you of changes, and handle the settlement of funds to your bank account. Additional benefits:
- Automatic reversal of returned ACH transactions
- Real-time general ledger updates
- One system to reconcile
- ACH Validation Services
ACH Validation Services is also an optional program available to clients using their own banks for processing. It ensures compliance with Nacha's WEB Debit Account Validation Rule and helps reduce fraud. The program automatically validates accounts at the point of payment and encrypts ACH account information when entered and stored on the U.Commerce platform. Up-front account validation helps avoid reversals, rejections, corrections, and returns, saving money as well as staff time.
