Financial uncertainty is commonly cited as the top reason that students discontinue their studies at an institution. It is vital that students are supported academically, but also in understanding and navigating the financial aspects of their higher education journey.

In an effort to address these issues, Canisius University in Buffalo, New York has taken steps to connect and coordinate the academic advising and student financial services offices to better support students.
